Kimberly Taylor 

Kimberly Taylor, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Microbiology

Dr. Kimberly Taylor serves the University as Assistant Professor of Microbiology and assists in the area of Academic Affairs.  She teaches Medical Microbiology and Medical Immunology.  Dr. Taylor relocated to Yakima from Phoenix, Arizona where she taught at Grand Canyon University and Glendale Community College.

Dr. Taylor earned her Ph.D. from Janus Pannonius University in Pécs, Hungary in 1997.  She is a member of the American Society for Microbiology and is an Associate Faculty member of the Columbia University Seminars on Pollution and Water Resources.  Her research interest lies in the area of global climate change and its impact on communicable disease with a particular emphasis on the occurrence and distribution of vector - and water-borne pathogens as global warming advances.
