PNWU Time Away
Time away benefits include holidays, sick time, vacation, leaves of absence, bereavement, jury duty, and vacation donation. Full-time employees earn vacation time equal to 12 hours per month, not to exceed 144 hours, and sick time equal to 8 hours per month, not to exceed 1040 hours. Part-time employees .5 FTE to .9 FTE earn half the accrual of full-time employees.
Time away absences for three or more days, that are not used for vacation, need to be requested using this form:
Holidays that fall on a Saturday will be recognized on the previous Friday. Holidays that fall on Sunday will be recognized on the following Monday. The University is closed for business during all Holidays.
