Dr. Kernerman is board certified by the American Board of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the American Board of Internal Medicine. In 1986, Dr. Kernerman received his medical degree from Des Moines University. He then went onto complete his internal medicine residency and fellowship in pediatric and adult allergy and immunology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. In addition to numerous awards and honors, Dr. Kernerman has published several articles and abstracts. Dr. Kernerman joined the Spokane Allergy and Asthma Clinic in July, 1992. Dr. Kernerman was named one of the “Best Doctors in Washington” in both 2010 and 2011.
