Welcome to the Office of Academic Support
The Office of Academic Support (OAS) seeks to serve the academic support needs of both the students and faculty of PNWU. The OAS functions to enhance and develop the academic abilities of our students by providing advising, tutoring, and assistance in developing a mastery of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) Core Competencies via student portfolio development. The academic support of faculty is accomplished within the OAS by assisting with coursework and curriculum facilitation within the framework of the mission and core themes of the university.

Faculty Advising
Each student at PNWU is assigned a faculty advisor. First-year students are assigned a basic science faculty member, and second-year students are assigned a clinical faculty advisor with whom they maintain an advising relationship with for the remainder of their student years at PNWU. Students should feel comfortable contacting their faculty advisor at any time for advice and support. Inquiries regarding the faculty advising program at PNWU should be directed to: Kimberly Taylor.
