Dr. Lloyd Butler is one of the proud founders and developers of Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences and has served as past board chair. Prior to founding the university, Dr. Butler had a successful medical practice in the lower Yakima Valley for 32 years before retiring in 2004.

Dr. Butler is committed to his community and has served on various volunteer boards and foundations. He is a proud member of the American Osteopathic Association, Washington Osteopathic Medical Association, the Osteopathic Foundation of Central Washington and has taught and mentored hundreds of osteopathic medical students throughout his career.

He is a graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri.
