Richard K. Spiegel, MD

Dr. Spiegel is President of Central Washington Healthcare Partners (CWHP), a subsidiary of Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. CWHP is an organization of Yakima area physicians who are working with Memorial Hospital to lower the cost of inpatient and outpatient health care while improving the quality of care and patient satisfaction. He earned his BA degree from Northwestern University and his M.D. from the University of Iowa. Dr. Spiegel’s post graduate training included Residency in Internal Medicine, Chief Residency in Internal Medicine, and Fellowship in Cardiology, all at the University of Iowa. Dr. Spiegel is an emeritus staff member of Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital and Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, member of the Washington State Medical Association, and member of the Yakima County Medical Society.  Dr. Spiegel is the current chair of the PNWU Board of Trustees.
