Mike Maples, MD

Assistant Secretary/Treasurer

Dr. Maples received his MD and BS in cell and molecular biology at the School of Medicine at the University of Washington. He completed his post-graduate training as a resident in family medicine in University of Washington affiliated hospitals.

Dr. Maples served as director for the development of the family medicine residency program in Yakima, Washington, until 2003. He then formed a new non-profit corporation to purchase the assets of Central Washington Family Medicine and reorganized to be designated as a federally qualified health center, Community Health of Central Washington. He is currently serving as its CEO.

Dr. Maples's professional affiliations include the American Academy of Family Physicians, Washington State Medical Association, Yakima County Medical Society, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, Association of Family Practice Residency Directors, Yakima Rotary Club, and United Way of Yakima County.

Dr. Maples is married to Marjorie Lynn Henderson, MD. They have two boys, Mark Thomas and Wesley Michael.
